We enjoyed a nice layed back 4th this year. In the morning we went and did a little shopping (Ryan had to check out the sidewalk sale at the golf store). After that we headed over to Ryan's Dad's house to eat and hang out. Shelley came along for the fun! We had a great lunch/dinner with waaaay too much food and then we let the girls do some "fireworks". All we had for them were sparklers, pop its and smoke bombs. Their Uncle Dave came through with some snakes, roman candles and a whistling pete. They were totally in awe of it all.
We were trying to teach them early how to light fireworks. They thought it was great!
Paige lighting her own smoke bomb. She was so funny. Every time she would get it lit, she would run away so fast and throw the punk. Every time.
Later after we got home and it was dark, we let the girls finish up the sparklers. Ryan and I had to do a few also.
Here is our FINALE! Uncle Dave parted with another whistling pete because the girls liked it so much. That was our final firework for the night. We obviously go really wild with the fireworks!

So, I just noticed that your baby is almost due! Good luck! It sure does go quickly when its not myself who's pregnant.
