No self control

I have had way too much fun this week shopping at Albertsons with the double coupons. In five days I went 6 times and did 37 transactions. Yes, I may be crazy, but I love good deals. Last night at 10 pm my friend and I went. We were there for FOUR hours. It took TWO hours just to get checked out. The guy that was helping us was not the fastest and our catalina coupons were not printing as they should have, which caused a few problems. We made it though and I got home and in bed at 3 AM. I was so hyped up that I didn't fall asleep until 4. It was too much like Christmas :)

All in all this week, I ended up buying 85 boxes of fruit snacks for a total of.....a PROFIT of $1.50. That, my friends is what great coupons and promos will get you!

Other items I picked up yesterday (2 Albertson's trips and Target)

3 Gillette Fusion shave gel $.49 each
3 Kleenex $1.15 each (not that great, but we all have colds :)
Crest toothpaste $.29
2 craft glue sticks $.75 each on clearance

12 Panteen shampoo and conditioner
6 crest toothpaste (not the small ones either)
3 glide floss
20ct DayQuil

Total was: $17.48 ($.79 each item)

2 Hefty zipper bags $.69 each
3 No Yolks FREE
Purex $.49/$.50 each
5 Sure deoderant PROFIT of $.26 each
Trident gum $.09 each
Snickers $.19 each (I just wanted these :)

Not pictured:
4 packs of Rhodes heat and serve roll $.50 each
3 4-pks of yogurt FREE

Target trip:
4 ziplocks $1.75 each (needed these also)
Dentyne gum $.58 ea
Glide floss $2.24 ea (so mad that I didn't know about the Albertson's price when I picked these up, I needed them though)
6 Gillette body wash PROFIT of $.21 each
3 toothbrushes $.49 each
toothpaste $1.09

Add in $7.23 for tax :( and my total for the day was 52.68

I think I have enough shampoo, conditioner, body wash and deoderant to last 2 years. I love it when my closets look like a grocery store :)

Another great perk is that when I am asked for donations, I can "shop" from my stock and the cost is minimal. It is such a blessing to have the means to help others out!

P.S. retail price of all those fruit snacks = $254.15
Retail price (or sale price for Target items) for everything else listed = $249.81

You are AMAZING! I'm finally getting organized and will be able to hopefully get some deals of my own. Catherine

That's funny that you couldn't fall asleep because I couldn't either. I was too hyped up to. And I was also thinking that it felt like Christmas. It's especially funny considering how tired we were while checking out.
