Garage sale fun

This morning Brynn, Cody and I headed out to check out the sales. There is usually a neighborhood sale going on most weekends this time of year. Those are my favorite. I can go to one place and park and walk if I want to. A lot of neighborhoods will hold them Fri and Sat. I usually hit up both days. There are always less sales on Fridays, but there are also less people. Lately I have been trying to get Cody's wardrobe complete in the next size and I have had some trouble. Today I ended up scoring! Here is my loot:

  • Carters reversible coat $1
  • winter hat $.50
  • Carters pj set $.50
  • 11 shirts $5.50 (.50 ea) (nice brands too, TCP, Gap, Old Navy)
  • 8 Carters onsies $2
  • Gap cammo canvas shoes $.50 (Cody picked these out and wore them the rest of the time)
  • water shoes $.50
  • Carters baby blanket $.50
  • Motherhood Maternity jeans $1 (these were previouly hemmed and are too short for me, but since I am lacking shorts in that dept., that is what I will be making out of them)

Total: $12.00 and about an hour of my time.

Those are great deals! I love finding the places where they sell kids' clothes for .50 each. That's how much I paid for a lot of my kids' clothes last year.

Considering the maternity pants and the baby counter.....it seems you have forgotten to post some rather important information!!!
