Heat Wave
Well, I know that all of you out there who live in AZ, NV, UT or CA are dealing with this heat also. But for us here in Auburn, WA (that is just outside Seattle) we are not used to this sort of thing. Tomorrow (Wednesday), they are forcasting 101 degrees. The hottest it has ever gotten in Seattle is 100 degrees. That may not seem too bad to most of you, but none of us up here in the northwest have air conditioning. Well, my mom has central air, but she is one of the lucky few. So think of me while you are sitting in your nice cool homes :) I will be swimming in my sister in law's pool for the next couple of days. Here are some pics of the girls in my mom's pool.

Hi there Jessica and family,
I remember one year up there it was 96 degrees and it was HOT AND STICKY. Here is is HOT and DRY. We haven't gotten use to the weather here at all. We lived in Alaska and Washington toooo many years. But we enjoy all the openness of the desert and the beautiful colors. I will have to send a picture of the surroundings with the beautiful sunsets and the purple mountains, and the sky with its vivid array of oranges, red, purples and pinks. If you have the chance to come here, I beleive that Ryans mom's also lives in AZ.
SURE WISHED AT THIS TIME OF YEAR WE HAD A SWIMMING POOL!!!!!!
Looks like Paige and Brynn are haveing a ball in the water. Where is that picture of YOU????? I'm still waiting. Tell your mom hello for us.
Love to all,
Grandma Linda
Come on girl! I want more pics!
