Pumpkin Patch & Trunk or Treat

The week before Halloween I took the girls and Paige's play group to the pumpkin patch. It was a nice sunny day, but the day before it had rained so the whole place was muddy. I had to strip everybody's shoes off and roll up their pant legs before I could put them back in the van. It was still fun though. Here are a couple pics of them. I had to get a shot of their bums so I had them bend over and look at a pumpkin. They were so cute.

The night before Halloween we had trunk or treat at the church. The girls really were not into it so we just stood around and waited for the trunk or treat to start. Here are the girls in their costumes. Poor Paige wanted to be a fairy, but it is just too cold here so I made her wear layers under her fairy dress. She didn't seem to mind.

On Halloween, Shelley (sister) came over and we and the girls painted their pumpkins. They just thought that was great. Here are their masterpieces.

I have one picture of Halloween of all the kids in their costumes before we went out trick or treating, but my camera batteries died. When they are done charging I will post that pic.

That's a great idea to paint the pumpkins. I wish we would have done that. Carving is still so hard for the little ones.
Your girls looked darling and I loved their "boo" pants. Too cute!
