4 Things you may not know about me:

1. The first car I ever bought myself was a white '95 t-top camero. I loved that car. Well, I had just turned 18 and that was freedom for me. Also, I thought it was a cool car. I ended up meeting Ryan just a couple months later and less than a year later, after we were married, we traded it in for a "family car". It's too bad a didn't need a "family car" for another three years. Oh well, it was definately the right move to get rid of it. Though it would have been a nice ride in Cali.

2. I never went to college. Just after I turned 18 (Oct 1999), I met Ryan. I hadn't really figured out what I wanted to do, nor did I really want to go to college, so meeting Ryan kind of saved me. He had two more years of undergrad and he new he wanted to do more after that, so I just kept working. That worked out really well for me. Someday, maybe when my own kids are all in school I may get the desire to go myself. We'll see!

3. I am REALLY afraid of spiders. Living in California was great for this problem because I really didn't see too many down there. Unfortunatley, here in the Great Northwest they are kind of everywhere. I have been really lucky in my new house and in a years time have found only two spiders that were too big for me to deal with. Luckily for me Ryan was home at the time, because no kidding I would have gotton the neighbor lady to come and kill it for me. My biggest problem right now is stocking the wood stove. I make Ryan go and get me wood every day from the wood pile, but a few spiders have hitched a ride. Oh, I really don't like that. I do wear gloves and basically hold the wood with my fingertips. That is the only way I can manage.

4. I love garage sales. Well, I love second hand stores also. Last year a friend of mine and I went to the biggest neighborhood garage sale I have ever seen. We started at 7:30 in the morning and went until about 3:30. It was great! People even sold hotdogs and drinks so we didn't have to stop to eat. We just bought our food along the way. Ryan was great enough to get his sister to watch the girls since he had to work. That is my favorite way to spend "me" time on a nice spring/summer saturday. I am counting down until next year!

Well, there ya go. I don't really have deep dark secrets so this is what you get.

Ok, I knew about the garage sale thing, but the rest was new to me! How fun to see your old sports car...I just really have a hard time imagining you being able to spend money on a car...Of course, I knew you when things were frugal for you (and all of us!)! I loved reading those fun facts though!
