A Good Productive Day
Do you ever have those days where you just get a lot done. Today was one of those days for me. Every day is hit and miss whether I am going to have a lot of energy or not. Well, today Ryan spent his day off golfing (literally, the whole day, 7:15am-now 9:00pm), so I was a little bummed when I got up at 8:00. I was still a little tired, so after breakfast the girls and I watched a little Dora. Really... I took a nap (yes, at 9:00 this morning). Well that seemed to energize me for the day. I did all the normal stuff we moms do, but I got in this mode and cleaned my room, then proceeded to dust and vacuum the entire house. Along with that was bed making, laundry, dishes, sweeping, cleaning the kitchen and just keeping the house picked up. Then I really kicked it up a notch (don't know where the energy came from). I cleaned the bathtub, which is Ryan's job and mowed the lawn (all 1/3 acre worth). I ended my evening by making some banana bread and bathing the girls and putting them to bed. I feel so good getting all that accomplished. It seems I get more done around the house when Ryan is not home. Could that be because I clean up after him also ??? It's a good thing I love what I do.

I get soooo much more done when Kirk isn't around. I think its because I just prefer to curl up next to him on the couch when he's home. Also, its hard to work while your spouse is relaxing. Maybe you are starting the "nesting" early?
You are amazing! When I read your title I thought "whatever she always has a productive day cleaning and organizing" Then I kept reading and I was amazed! That was really a lot even for Jessica Bennion! And of course you get more done when Ryan is gone. And yes, it is b/c we pick up after them....not b/c we would rather snuggle on the couch when they are home! :) j/k
i love days like those! Hey, Jessica! Haven't talked to you since forever but I am trying to get into the blog world! Your girls are beautiful and so big now! Congrats on the boy...do you have any names picked out! Brandy
Send some of that energy to St. George for me PLEASE!!! I could really use it!
I second Courtney's plea. I have had absolutely no energy this pregnancy. In fact, I think it is safe to say that I have even been a bit lazy. I wish I had even a fraction of the energy that you described here. Good for you!
Jess, I forgot to tell you that we just started our own blog...I'ms still trying to figure things out. I didn't have your e-mail address to invite you so please let me know! Brandy
