Update

Well, I'm still here and still pregnant...though I only have six weeks left! I have been busy garage saleing for baby items and getting the bedrooms re-arranged for the big day. Now we are in the wait and see what happens phase. We had a couple birthdays this past month. Paige turned 5 and Ryan turned the big 3-0! I decided not to do a friend party this year and instead we went to Chuck-e-Cheese on her birthday which happened to be a Friday which is Ryan's day off. The girls love that place. Paige brought along her cousin Jake for the fun. Below are Ryan and the kids playing skee-ball. Paige was REALLY into collecting tickets and played this over and over. She was actually really good.

The next day we had a combined birthday party for Paige and Ryan with my family. It was a really warm day (90 degrees in May!) so the BBQ was perfect, though it was a little warm inside the house. My Grandma's present to Paige was garage sale stuff....a bag, wallet, pad of paper and pencil (to write out what she wants) and a whole lot of dollar bills. Paige thought that was great and had them all spread out on the floor. She does ask me every weekend if we can go garage saleing. She is a girl after my own heart.

The next day (Sunday) we had Ryan's family over for the birthday's and we had another BBQ. The weather was much nicer this day (only 75). It was so nice just to hang out in the backyard all day and play games and visit.

Here is Paige with her cake. She wanted a pink cake with purple sprinkles and blue writing. Her Aunt Jenny came through with that request and it was delicious. Notice the "candles"? Yea, being the great mom that I am, I forgot to see if I had any candles, so we used fireplace matches instead.

Paige blowing out her candles.....

Just a random picture of the "princesses".

Hi Jessica, found your blog through friends. I read about your potty training success and realize that some kids just catch on easier than others, but I am very curious what method you used. My son in 3 1/2 and we have been potty training on and off for a year! It still hasn't clicked for him and I have had it! You are really LUCKY!!

Noticed some sunshine in those pictures! I was out of town that weekend in California. Believe it or not California was having Seattle weather. Bummer! Looks like you all had a great time. Can't believe our girls are 5 and headed to Kindergarten! Love, Catherine
